Proposed Restrictions on Rodenticides

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is considering several changes to its regulation of rodenticides that will jeopardize access to these critical pest management products and tools. The proposed changes are significant and will make all bulk rodenticides RESTRICTED USE PRODUCTS (RUP).

As part of this process, there will be a 60-day public comment period which could be opening any day. During this comment period stakeholders will have the opportunity to voice concerns and we suggest distributors, dealers, producers and customers who wish to retain access to bulk rodenticides plan to reach out to the EPA to provide feedback on the magnitude of the ramifications of this misguided regulatory initiative. It is further recommended that you discuss directly and/or copy your senate and congressional representatives on your communications as the EPA is very sensitive to their input.

Because this is a rapidly evolving situation, this resource page was designed to keep you abreast of updates and provide resources. Be sure to check back frequently for updates.
