EAR MITE REPELLENT LOTION
Detail Sheet Description A liquid lotion containing 0.15% pyrethrins, aloe, lanolin and PABA sunscreen. Kills on contact and repels ear mites, flies, mosquitoes, gnats, fleas, ticks, lice, and mange mites on exposed skin for 3-5 days. For Use On Dogs, Cats, Puppies, Kittens, Horses, and Foals Active Ingredients Pyrethrins - 0.15% *Piperonyl Butoxide, Technical - 1.00% N-Octyl Bicycloheptene Dicarboximide - 0.50% D-n-PropylIsocinchomeronate - 1.00% * Equivalent to 0.80% butylcarbityl 6-propylpiperonyl ether and 0.20% of related compounds. Advantages - Kills and repels Ear Mites, as well as other insects indicated on label - Helps relieve irritation caused by ear mites - Multi-species label: Dogs, Cats, and Horses - Squeeze bottle with tip for easy and convenient application Diagnosis Ear mites usually induce the formation of a dry, dark brown, waxy exudate with crusts in the ears of dogs, cats, and horses. Ear mites may be detected by placing some of the ear exudate on a dark surface and carefully watch-ing for the movement of tiny white specks away from the exudate. Inflamed, or blocked ear canals indicate a more serious condition which requires the services of a veterinarian. Directions for use Dogs, Puppies, Cats, and Kittens: To kill and repel ear mites: Clean ear to remove built-up wax and dirt. Gently dry ear with a cotton ball or soft cloth and apply a thin film of treatment. The treatment may be applied daily for 7 to 10 days. To kill ticks: Make sure treatment covers ticks. To use as a repellent: Spread treatment lightly on outer and inner surface of the outer ear canal and between the toes before animals enter infested area. Repeat daily as needed. Horses and Foals: To control ticks, gnats, flies, mosquitoes, and mange mites and foals: Before application remove dirt or debris by brushing or washing with a mild detergent. Allow to completely dry. Apply a light film to affected areas daily, massaging into the skin for 2 to 3 days. Then apply every 3 to 5 days as needed. Packaging
